This work is one of a pair that arose from a conversation between two artists using two different native languages, Norwegian and Japanese, intentionally misunderstanding each other.
Two texts were written in their respective native languages and exchanged. The artists then separately created works to translate the texts, conventionally inaccessible due to the language barrier, into a language they both speak as artists.
